Chashme badoor is my all time favourite in comedies

I honestly don't think that it is a good idea of remaking that film . No one can capture the simplicity and exuberance of the original movie . It is about three friends who share a room .One of them is a nerd , totally into books and the least bit interested in girls ( Shahid's charcter) . The other two are the biggest jerks that you can ever imagine . They only have one aim in life , running after girls .They are complete idiots . Whistling after chicks , absolute cheapsters. Then they see this girl and like start going after her .The girl is not even aware of their existance. One day by co insidence this girl comes into their house to sell washing powder . the only one at home is the nerd. She is trying to sell washing powder to him . In the process they both start liking each other and a really sweet and cute romance starts developing between them. The girl's role is of a really sweet, simple and cute girl . It requires someone with very very good comic skills and subtle acting . I guess that's why Kareena has been approached for the role . I just don't think Tushar and Riteish can do justice to the roles of ravi Biswas and Rakesh bedi . They were simply awesome as the idiotic jerks .
