Amitabh Bachchan turns 64

As the legend of Indian cinema Amitabh Bachchan turns a year older, his fans seem to want more of their favourite superstar. And why not? This legend has given the industry something that no other actor has. His style of acting and dialogue delivery are incomparable.

He is the patriarch of Indian cinema, a role model for the masses, and a doctorate to boot. Amitabh Bachchan blows out 64 candles today (October 11), and here’s what the younger stars had to say about the legend.

"I think he is God to Indian cinema. We all worship him and pray to him, every actor wants to be like him. I think it’s a dream. I have had the opportunity to work with him twice in “Dev” and “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham”. It’s an absolute dream come true and we wish him a very happy birthday," said Kareena Kapoor. "Well, I just want to say to Mr. Bachchan, ‘You are the best costar I have worked with. You are an inspiration to all of us. You totally motivate us and thank you for being you. God bless, happy birthday," said Arjun Rampal

"Well, Mr. Bachchan, a very happy birthday to you. God bless you and have a great future ahead. You are a superstar, you are a rockstar," said John Abraham.

"Happy birthday, Amitji. Have a great year, you rock," said Bipasha Basu.
